An easy guide to starting out your collection with Beatles records! (plus a Cats album). water injection . Also tips on the famous Yesterday and Today album! Grading Scale for LPS/45s: Poor/Fair: Record skips, scratches and warps a lot, considerable amount of noticeable marks that are DEEP! Not worth much. Arcteryx Phase . Good/Good+: Good is NOT bad! Noticeable surface noise, yet record plays through without skipping. Wear on record and marks that are fairly noticeable. VG(Very Good): Record plays with some surface noise, wear shows, but no, noticeable big marks. Record still has its shine, and plays fine. VG+(Very Good+, most common condition found): Still, some slight surface noise, yet less marks than VG, record has gloss and wear isn`t that noticeable. NM (Near Mint): Almost perfect record. Plays WITHOUT surface noise, second to no wear, and gloss is beautiful! You`ve got yourself a good record! M(rarely are Mint records found at all): A perfect record, with amazing gloss and NO wear at all. Like it was JUST made!

You shouldn’t keep your records like that. You should put them in the inner sleeve, and then make sure the opening of the inner sleeve is upright when you put it back into the outer sleeve. This way there is less of a chance of your record accidentally sliding out, and it’s better protected from dust and the like.

@dimebagdave77 I know they have a few re-issues of the Butcher cover, but almost all of them are the colored vinyl ones.

excellent primer on collecting! Yeah, i agree with you on vinyl
superiority over digital. Cd’s are on their way out in a big way
and vinyl plants that were previously mothballed in Canada and the USA are pressing more albums now for Universal, Capitol and other labels. I reckon that in a couple years most music lovers ( who don’t use an ipod exclusively) will
be shopping for vinyl. Usually, the heavier the wax the more expensive for new wax. Long live the vinyl revolution!!
